In the foreground is a 3.7" anti-aircraft gun in a revetment built from 44 gallon drums used to fortify the area. In the background is a second 3.7" anti-aircraft gun in another revetment with camouflage netting over the hill top. Beyond in the distance is Fairfax Harbor with Tatana Island on the south coast of New Guinea.
