Location Lat 40° 5' 22N Long 124° 24' 32E Sinuiju Airfield (K-30) is located at an elevation of 23' above sea level to the south of Sinuiju 신의주시 in the Yalu River plain, North P'yŏngan Province (Pyongan-bukto), Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea). To the north is the Yalu River and international border with China and beyond Dandong. To the northeast is Uiju Airfield and beyond Uiju. Construction Sinuiju Airfield was a single runway surfaced with grass oriented 03/21 measuring 3,250' x 213'. Korean War During the Korean War, designated "K-30" by the USAF.
