Built by Bell in Buffalo, New York. Delivered to the U.S. Army. Disassembled and shipped overseas to the South Pacific and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 13th Air Force, 18th Fighter Group, 12th Fighter Squadron. Nose number 351. Nicknamed "Sweet Talk".

Mission History
Force landed Torokina Airfield on Bougainville, date unknown likely December 1943.

Wreckage
This Airacobra was moved to the bone yard area at Torokina Airfield next to F4U Corsair 17884. Stripped for usable parts and abandoned. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
