Aircraft History
Built by Bell in Buffalo, New York. Delivered to the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as P-39 Airacobra model and serial number unknown, likely a later model P-39N. Disassembled and shipped overseas to the South Pacific (SOPAC) and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 13th Air Force (13th AF), 18th Fighter Group, (18th FG), 12th Fighter Squadron (12th FS). Nose number 351. Nicknamed "Sweet Talk".

Mission History
This Airacobra force landed Torokina Airfield on Bougainville. The date of the landing is unknown, likely sometime during December 1943.

Wreckage
This Airacobra was moved to the bone yard area at Torokina Airfield. Afterwards, stripped for usable parts and abandoned. During January 1944, the wreckage was near F4U Corsair 02576 and F4U Corsair 17884. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
