Location
Lat 5° 4' 60S Long 145° 37' 60E  Nake is located inland from the north coast in Madang Province in Papua New Guinea at an elevation of 1,669' / 508m. To the east on the coast is Alexishafen and southeast is Madang.

Prewar
On July 9, 1935 Klemm L 25 "St. Paulus" HB-XAL departed Alexishafen Airfield (Danip Airfield) and made a flight over Nake during the aircraft's first flight in New Guinea.
