Aircraft History Built by Kawasaki at Kagamigahara. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Type 3 Fighter Hein / Ki-61 Tony manufacture number unknown. Wartime History Assigned to an unknown Sentai. This aircraft operated from Babo Airfield until damaged or disabled on the ground and abandoned off the runway. Wartime History This aircraft remained in situ at Babo Airfield until at least 1973. The aircraft had shrapnel damaged on one of the propeller blades likely from damaged sustained on the ground from bombing and strafing. By 1991, this aircraft was not present. Ultimate fate unknown. Possibly salvaged by the Indonesians, scrapped or otherwise disappeared. Contribute
