Background
The 105mm Howitzer Motor Carriage M7 was a U.S. Army self-propelled artillery vehicle produced during World War II. In service with the British Army, nicknamed "Priest" due to the pulpit shaped machine gun tub at the front and as an appropriate nickname as the British Army 25-pdr Mark 1 self-propelled gun nicknamed "Bishop".
