Wartime History
Designed as a suicide submarine with two torpedoes and en explosive charge. Built during 1945, but never used in combat. Captured by American forces. Kairyu means "Sea Dragon" in Japanese.

Displayed at the Yamato Museum (Kure Maritime Museum).
