1) November 19, 1942 at 3:00am Japanese Submarine I-20 launches HA-37 Type A Midget Submarine roughly six miles off Cape Esperance on Guadalcanal.
2) A few minutes later, HA-37's steering system develops a serious oil leak but continues on the surface but fails to sight any targets.
3)
At 6:55am, scuttled off Cape Esperance on Guadalcanal.
