Ship History
Built by Higgins Industries Shipyard in New Orleans, Louisiana. Commissioned during the middle of 1944. Originally classified as FP-Type (Freight and Cargo Type), later the designation was changed to FS-Type (Freight and Supply Type).

Wartime History
Assigned to the South-West Pacific Area.

Sinking History
On July 17, 1972 caught fire and sank without loss of life in the southern Philippines.
