Sinking History
During late 1941, after the start of the Pacific War, bombed and strafed by Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). The crew abandoned ship, leaving it adrift. Later, towed to Dili Harbor and sunk into shallow water.

Shipwreck
During late September 1945, the stern section remained above water.
