Madang Published by the Divine Word University (DWU), Madang is a beautiful hardcover book that details the history of Madang and Madang Province. The book details the colonial era history, starting with the German administration, Australian adimiistration, World War II and postwar era to Independence. Included are Madang Airfield, Coastwatchers Memorial Lighthouse and other famous sites. One chaper details the World War II history including the Japanese occupation of Madang and Australian liberatation.
