Buffie's Best P-38 Lightning
Restorations Illustrated Volume 2 Two Disc Set: CD-ROM and DVD

This two disc set is jam-packed with information, interviews and data related to the Lockheed P-38 Lightning.

Computer CD-ROM
Disk one is a computer CD-ROM that launches a webpage / power point presentation ,that includes tons of wartime photos and present day P-38 restorations, history and interviews with two P-38 restorers: Robert Cardin who restored the famous Greenland P-38 "Glacier Girl" and Robert Jarrett, Classic Jets Fighter Museum who is restoring P-38H 42-66841. For manual enthusiasts, there are printable versions of Allison service handbook, and each P-38 model, including F-4 and F-5.  Also of interest, all photos and documents are of printable quality for offline study or review.

Veteran Interviews DVD
The second disk is a 110 minute DVD that includes interviews with eleven P-38 veterans from ETO, Italy and all regions of the Pacific.  Pacific veterans interviewed include: Joe Forster (432nd FS), Ian Hamilton (12th FS), Julius Jacobson (339th FS), Jack Mullan (26th Photo Recon Squadron), Dale Thisted (432nd FS), and Bob Waggoner (54th FS).  Each interview is edited to include wartime photos related to the story.  Just for this second disk alone, this product is worthwhile!
