The National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM) is located at NAS Pensacola and is devoted to U.S. Navy (USN) aircraft and aviation. Formally known as the National Museum of Naval Aviation (NMNA). Also known as the Naval Aviation Museum (NAM).

66237 (MSN A-1257) ditched in Pacific Ocean near San Diego Jan 12, 1944. Recovered by USN Oct 9, 1970. Reported in 1974 at Pima County Air Air Museum, Tucson, AZ. Later on display at National Museum of Naval Aviation, Pensacola, FL.

F6F-5 Hellcat Bureau Number 94203
Displayed at the museum painted in the markings of F6F "Minsi III" 70143 assigned to Commander David McCampbell.

Donated as a gift to museum in October 1996, transferred 1999 and stored until displayed July 2009

Salvaged August 17, 2010 from Lower Otay Reservoir in San Diego under restoration
