Photo ArchiveBetikama School is located to the east of Honiara, at the Betikama School there is a small museum with relics and aircraft on display. Collected decades ago, the museum has not has much upkeep in recent years, but still gets a steady stream of visitors.

Japanese Type 94 37mm Anti-Tank Gun
Located in the outside display area.

Japanese Mountain Gun
Located in the outside display area, missing the carriage and shield. A shell is stuck inside the barrel.

Bren Gun Carrier
Located in the outside display area, with several engines and gun barrels.

P-400 Airacobra Serial Number BW-157
Dug up from Henderson Field, displayed at the museum

SBD Dauntless Bureau Number 06662
Crashed December 1, 1942 displayed at the museum

F4F Wildcat
Displayed at the museum, wings and propeller.

Japanese 75mm Mountain Gun Type 41 (1908)
Located in the outside display area, missing the wheels and shield.

Located behind the museum area, this is a circular building with indoor display area. During the ethnic tensions on Guadalcanal, many of the machine guns and weapons on display were stolen or removed.

Weapons, munitions and relics
Inside, there are collections of various munitions of different shell sizes displayed, also several machine guns, helmets, mess tins and other personal effects from American servicemen. A Japanese 'Knee Mortar' and gun carriage also are present.

Short barrel cannon and ammunition drum from a A6M2 Model 21 Zero.

TBF Avenger Dorsal Turret
Dorsal turret with .50 caliber machine gun and armor plating displayed at museum.

B-24D "Bundles For Japan" Serial Number 41-23965
Pilot Newman crashed February 16, 1943 nose art fragment displayed at museum.
