Located outside Ulanbaataar, this museum is devoted to General Georgy Zhukov and his residence. Outside are several large mosaics murals.
Remodeled during 2007-2009, the museum reopened for the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Khalkhin Gol / Nomonhan incident. Signage is minimal and in Mongolian and Russian only.
Inside, the museum includes the General's desk and other exhibits. Inside a display case are several captured Japanese weapons including a pistol, NCO sword and Type 11 Light Machine Gun. Also on display is a wheeled Maxim machine gun, Degtyaryov light machine gun and modern RPD machine gun. Another case includes relics collected from the battlefield including bottles and helmets.
