North Queensland Warbirds (Warbird Adventures) is located at Mareeba Airfield. The lobby is a museum with displays related to Australian military equipment, insignia. A 25 Pounder gun is displayed, as wreckage of P-40N "Mr. Five by Five / Punkins" 42-104977. The open hanger area is the P-40 project restoration area. Also, a second hanger houses the flying aircraft collection. They are currently setting up a new hangar facility at Mareeba which will give them both a restoration hanger and a museum and display hangar. Their collection also includes a Winjeel, Nanchang and Harvard.
