The Australian Aviation Heritage Centre (Darwin Aviation Museum) located at Darwin Airport the suburb of Winnellie at Darwin, the collection of contemporary
aircraft includes a B-52 bomber, on permanent loan from the USAF, flown to the museum from Guam, currently it has no armament or engines
but one of only two displayed outside the United States. Also, a DeHaviland
Dove and a Mirage which had crashed onto the tidal flats in 1982,
and an Australian built F-86 Sabre.

The aviation museum does have a restored drop tank, restored by AWM during their restoration of A6M2 Zero 5784 in exchange for three drop tanks from the Darwin Museum that were collected from the Darwin area.

Damaged beyond repair during Cyclone Tracy in 1974. Wreckage located outside the museum.
