    Tarik Island (Totiw) Chuuk State (Truk) Federated States of Micronesia

Lat 7°20'31.2" Long 151°46'55.19"  Tarik Island is located in the Parem Municipality at the center of Truk Lagoon in Chuuk State (Truk) in the Federated States of Micronesia. The island has a hill on the southern portion with an elevation of 248'. Also known as Totiw, Fuyo, Fuyō-shima, Teetiw, Hibiscus Island, Tadiu, Dadum, Rose Mallow Island, Totiu, Teetiu, Tardieu, Tatu, Tarik, Toronmurui. To the north is Param Island (Parem), to the east is Fefan Island, to the southeast is Tsis Island and to the west is Tol Island.

Wartime History
Occupied by the Japanese for the duration of the Pacific War.
