Location
Taro Island is a small flat island that forms the western edge of Choiseul Bay off northwestern tip of Choiseul Island in Choiseil Province in the Solomon Islands. Emerald Entrance provides a passage for vessels. Nearby is Redman Island and Guppy Island.

Choiseul Bay Airport
Built in 1973 by British Engineers spanning the length of the island.
