Lat 6° 49' 60S Long 156° 31' 60E Moli village and Moli Point are located at an elevation of 75' / 22m on the southern coast near the northwest corner of Choiseul Island. To the northwest is Choiseul Bay. Today located in Choiseul Province in Solomon
Islands.
Japanese Aircraft Wreck
Allied Intelligence Technical Air Intelligence Unit (ATAIU) visited a Japanese aircraft that force landed here during January-February 1944. They noted an
aerial camera mounted on the side of the fuselage of the wreck.
