Renandi is located on the north coast of Guadalcanal. To the west is Honiara and Point Cruz

Wartime History
On July 5, 1942 Japanese forces landed at Renandi during their initial Japanese landing on Guadalcanal and built docks at this location. During August 1942, occupied by the U. S. Marine Corps (USMC) and captured the docks. Used by the Americans until this location came into range of Japanese artillery. Instead, Lunga Point was used as the primary American anchorage.
