Location Lat 9° 19' 8S Long 159° 48' 9E Domo village is located the north coast of Guadalcanal. Also spelled "Domma" or "Ndomo" in the Guadalcanal language. To the north borders Domo Cove (Domma Cove, Ndomo Cove) and beyond Iron Bottom Sound. To the northwest is Cape Esperance. To the southeast is Bunani Point. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the British Solomon Islands Protectorate (BSIP). Today located in Guadalcanal Province in the Solomon Islands. Wartime History During August 1942, occupied by the Japanese Army and used as a supply and logistical area during the Guadalcanal campaign.
