    Nokiki (Nukiki) Choiseul Island (Lauru) | Choiseul Province Solomon Islands

Location
Lat 6° 45' 48S Long 156° 26' 47E  Nokiki is located the northwestern tip of Choiseul Island (Lauru) in Choiseul Province in the Solomon Islands. Located to the southeast of Choiseul Bay. Also spelled "Nukiki".

Wartime History
After the October 28, 1943 U. S. Marine Corps (USMC) landing at Voza, Major Warner T. Bigger, battalion executive officer launched an operation to the northeast towards Nokiki and the Warrior River with the goal of destroying Japanese barges operating from Choiseul Bay.
