Tutuila Island is largest island in American Samoa in the United States of America (USA). To the west is the International Date Line and the border with Samoa. The island is roughly 17 miles long and 5 miles wide.
During World War II, Tutuila was the headquarters of the Samoan
Area Defense Force.
