Location
Lat 8° 27' 47S Long 146° 17' 50E  Sarota is a coastal village on the southern coast of New Guinea in Gulf Province in Papua New Guinea. Located near the provincal border between Gulf Province and Central Province roughly eighty miles to the east is Port Moresby. To the north is Iokea.
