Location
Megas Island is located in Sek Harbor to the east of Alexishafen and the Alexishafen Mission, southeast of Sek Harbor.

Wartime History
During January 1943, occupied by the Japanese Army. In the middle of April 1944 the Australian Army liberated the area. During May 1944 naval facilities were built on Megas to support the U.S. Navy Base at Alexishafen.
