Location Galley Reach is located on the coast of southern New Guinea. Named after a prewar shipwreck that ran aground and was abandoned in the shallow sea offshore. Located near Manumanu and the Vanapa River and borders mangrove swamps. To the east roughly 30km away is Port Moresby. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Central District of Territory of Papua. Today located in the National Capital District (NCD) of Papua New Guinea (PNG). Fairfax Station The Fairfax Station was a cattle Station near Galley Reach to the west of Port Moresby.
