Location
The D'Entrecasteaux Islands (D'Entrecasteaux Islands Group) is located in Milne Bay Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Includes Goodenough Island, Amphlett Islands, Fergusson Island, Sanaroa Island, Dobu Island and Normanby Island. Borders the Solomon Sea to the north, Moresby Strait to the southeast and Ward Hunt Strait to the south. To the north is Kiriwina Island and to the northeast Is Woodlark Island.
