In the forground is the guard hut and in the background is a mess hut with a drum of coffee brewing. Kanga Force withdrew from the Bulolo Valley to Winima then to Kudjeru at the start of the Bulldog Track. For five weeks, Australian troops were at Winima and Kudjeru until they returned to Wau.
