Lat 14° 37' 0N Long 120° 58' 0E  Located in the northwest portion of Manila. Borders Manila Bay to the west, Navotas to the northwest, Caloocan City to the north and Stanta Cruz District is located to the east.

Wartime History
Occupied by the Japanese during 1942 until early February 1945. During the Battle of Manila starting on February 3, 1945 retreating Japanese forces began burning this area of the city. On February 5, 1945 a Japanese field gun was setup outside Tondo Church while civilians were hiding inside. Spotted by a US Army liaison plane, this gun was targeted and destroyed.
