Lat 5° 4' 21N  Long 119° 47' 7E  Sanga-Sanga is a Barangay located at the southwestern end of the Tawi Tawi Island. During World War II, this island was considered part of Borneo.

Wartime History
Occupied by the Japanese, this location was used as major stop over base for the Japanese Navy during their occupation.

On April 2, 1945, occupied by the U.S. Army 41st Infantry Division. Later, they were relieved by the 2/25 Australian Infantry Battalion occupied the area.
