Lat 16° 17' 54N  Long 121° 2' 27E ¬†Located along Route 5, 15 miles north of Santa Fe.

Wartime History
On June 1, 1945 the remainder of the Japanese Army 2nd Tank Regiment and 10th Tank Regiment dug in together at Aritao. On June 4, 1945 the US Army 37th Infantry Division attacked supported by the 775th Tank Battalion, loosing two tanks and two anti-tank guns during the assault. A-20s and fighter-bombers supporting ground forces strike defensive positions at Aritao. The defending Japanese forces and armor were destroyed.
