    Nigesorimot Dornod Province Mongolia

Located south of the Khalastin Gol (Holsten River) roughly 8km to the east of Noro Heights and southeast of Imi.

Wartime History
During the Battle of Khalkhin Gol / Nomonhan Incident, this location was important during July - August 1939.

On July 7, 1939 the 71st Regiment commanded by Okamoto camped in this area, which they incorrectly believed was Height 758. Later, they dug into at this location. The 1st Battalion commanded by Major Sugitachi occupied Heights 744, and smaller elements held Heights 747 and 757.

On August 20, 1939 during the Soviet "August Offensive", Nigesorimot was the site of a fierce battle between Japanese infantry versus Soviet tanks and infantry with Soviet snipers dug into the roots of this tree.
