    Maloelap Atoll  Marshall Islands
Location
Maloelap Atoll is located in the Marshall Islands, to the north of Majuro Atoll. Maloelap Atoll includes Taroa Island, Elen Island, Egeriben Island, Kumaru Island, Airik Island, Makaru Island, Enijun Ilsand, Loa Island, Bogenagaki Island, Bebi Island, Bokku Island, Kaben Island (Kaven) and Jaraburu Island, Onimak Island, Enea Island, Tian Island, Tar Island, Gijibai Island, Ollot Ilsand and Pigeeatto Island. Also spelled "Maloalap" incorrectly in some wartime accounts.

Occupied by the Japanese for the duration of the Pacific War.

Taroa Island
Located at the eastern edge of Maloelap Atoll, second largest island on Maloelap Atoll with Taroa Airfield

Eoon-Epje Island (Eoon Epje)
Small island to the south of Taroa Island, connected by a causeway during the war.

Kaven Island (Kaven)
Located in the northwest corner of Maloelap Atoll, site of the present day Kaben Airport

Sunk December 1943

Pilot Heun crashed January 22, 1944 crashed into the southern end of Maloelap Atoll

Pilot Crume crashed January 22, 1944 crashed to the south of Maloelap Atoll
