Lat 6° 0' 0N Long 169° 34' 60E. Jaluit Atoll is located in souhern the Marshall Islands. Includes Jaluit Island forming the southern corner with Jabor at the eastern end.

Wartime History
Jaluit Atoll was occupied by the Japanese until the end of the Pacific War. During September 1945 the official surrender of the Japanese garrison was signed aboard USS Thornhill DE-195.

Imroij Island (Inroj)  located at the eastern center of Jaluit Atoll.
