Location
Perak State is located on the western centeral portion of the Malayan Peninsula in Malaysia. Borders Kedah to the north, Thailand to the northeast, Penang to the northwest, Kelantan and Pahang to the east and Selangor to the south. The Strait of Malacca is to the west. The capital is Ipoh. Perak State is the fourth largest state in Malaysia.
