Location Lat 42° 20′ 40″ N Long 130° 23′ 4″ E Rasŏn 라선 is a port city located in the Kwanbuk Region in the northeastern tip of the Korean Peninsula. To the north is the international border with Jilin Province in China and the Khasansky District of Primorsky Krai in Russia. During the Pacific War known to the Allies as "Najin". Also known as Rajin-Sŏnbong. Today located in North Hamgyŏng Province in Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea).
