Shipbuilding company located at Kobe. Built ships, repairs, engineering, steel maker. Builder of warships, cargo vessels and ocean liners.
Kobe Gokou Jinja
Shrine at Kobe "For the souls of the KIA who fought bravely for the defense of the fatherland." The shrine has several memorials to Japanese servicemen.
Erected by the 68th Sentai and 78th Sentai Hien Pilots Association, for the hundreds of KIA pilots and ground crewmen at Gokoku Jinja Shrine. The two kanji letters on top translate to "Brave Souls".
