Location
Bentoni Bay is located inside MacCluer Gulf (McCluer, Teluk Berau) bordering the southern coast of western New Guinea in West Papua Province (Papua Barat, West Irian Jaya) in Indonesia. The entrance is twelve miles wide and fringed by low marshy land. Also known as "Teluk Bintuni" or "Teloek Bentoni" in Indonesian. Borders Babo and Mongosah to the south and Cape Kabarisi to the north. Also known as Bintuni Bay.
