    Seram Island (Ceram, Seran, Serang) Maluku Province (Moluccas) Indonesia

Seram Island is the largest island in the Moluccas Island Group. Wartime spelling "Ceram Island". Also spelled "Seran Island" or "Serang Island". Borders Waroe Bay to the east, the Ceram Sea is to the north, Banda Sea to the south and New Guinea (West Papua) to the east. Offshore to the southeast are Haroekoe Island (Harakoe) and Pelauw Island. Prewar and during the Pacific War, located in the Netherlands East Indies (NEI). Today located in Maluku Province (Moluccas) in Indonesia.

Boela (Bula)
Located on the northeastern coast of Seram (Ceram) with the Boela Oil Fields.

Kairatoe (Kairatu)
Located on the southwestern end of Seram Island (Ceram).

Waroe Bay
Located off the eastern coast of of Seram (Ceram).
