(5th AF) B-24's hit shipping at MacCluer Gulf.

June 24, 1944
(FEAF) B-25s, A-26s, and A-20s hit shipping on MacCluer Gulf.

August 1, 1944
(FEAF) A few B-25s hit shipping in the islands to the west, sinking luggers off Kaboe and Salawat Islands and strafing troops on the shores of MacCluer Gulf. Lost is B-25H Mitchell 43-4332 (MIA).

August 3, 1944
(FEAF) B-25s hit troop concentrations at Bira and other points on MacCluer Gulf.

August 17, 1944
(FEAF) Fighter-bombers hit troop concentrations along the N shore of MacCluer Gulf.

August 23, 1944
(RAAF) Shot down by anti-aircraft fire over Babo is P-40N Warhawk A29-568 (rescued).
