Annette Island is located in the Gravina Islands in the Alexander Archipelago in Alaska in the United States. Borders the North Pacific Ocean near the boder between Alaska and Canada. Also known as Taak'w Aan or Tlingit.
During the Pacific War, Annette Island was developed as a military installation to protect Prince Rupert, British Columbia.
Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and U. S. Army Engineers
