Jean-Claude Tranape  F4F Crash Site & Village
Return to the beach. Look at the density of the forest.
We found an other wreck, near the village of Tassiriki
A wing of the plane. The growth is very dense and the other parts of the plane were not visible.
The children were very interested. Jerome is speaking with the "little chief" Robson NARINELU". We were at "TASSIRIKI village " on the Island of MOSO. This village is near the wreck that we had just see before. Position S17°32,788 E168°15,938

An other kind of "dog tag" was found by the village on the garbish. One side reads: "BATTLE TELEPHONE"

The reverse side of the dog tag reads "EDVIN ARTHUR LACY 26.18.13 B O 2/48" Who was he?

We leaved the village of TASSIRIKI and the very nice peoples who stay there.
