History
Emplaced on the high ground of Poporang Island to provide anti-aircraft defense over the Shortlands.
Wreckage
This gun is broken into several components, and mostly
buried at its emplacement. The barrel is separated laying to
the side, and gun buried near the base. It is unclear if this gun was hit during the war, or disassembled into pieces for potential salvage or scrapping postwar.
