Gun History
Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as a twin 127mm Anti-Aircraft Gun Type 89 (1929) serial numbers unknown in a turret. This gun battery was transported to Roi-Namur Island.

Wartime History
This gun was emplaced in a parapet on Roi-Namur Island near North Pass. The gun survived the Pacific War and was abandoned with the gun barrel pointed at a horizontal angle.
