This site has links to many of the crimes in the Pacific Theater including many of the other committed in Europe.

The Chaplin of our World War Two Group Unit in Allentown PA. was a POW of the Germans and escaped with the help of the French Underground.

He was then sent to the Pacific Theater as a Radioman and was shot down with his plane there.

He told us he HAS NO GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT HIS TIME AS A POW OF THE JAPANESE, NOTHING!! To this day he has nightmares of his time with the Japanese.

I should have mentioned my father was in the Pacific Theater from 1938 until the war ended in 1945 in the USAAC and he was at Hickam on December 7, 1941.

Their Unit the 42 Squadron 11 BG H was shown films of the Japanese using Chinese Soldiers as LIVE bayonet victims and the mass burial of other LIVE Chinese Soldiers. They were shown the films so as to know what to expect from the Japanese if ever captured.

Read the book by Iris Chang "The Rape of Nanjing" it tells it all. Two Japanese Lt's. had a contest to see who could behead the most Chinese Soldiers. But one cut one soldier through his helmet in half. He ruined his sword and they ended their contest. At that point they had cut the heads off more than a hundred soldiers.

Unlike the German Government the Japanese have NEVER taken responsibility for this crimes against humanity
