B-17 41-2443 Crashes at Oahu Easter Sunday April 5, 1942. My father is in the photo with one of it's crews. The B-17 patrolled the Hawaiian Islands after the Attack. On Easter Sunday the Field refused to turn the light on for the bomber, it crashed all the crew were killed. An hour later a Navy PBY also hit the mountain and their crew as lost as well.

This is the B-17 41-2443 that crashed on 4/5/1942 coming back from a patrol of the Hawaiian Islands.
