after the war ended the army airforse destroid P47 at the philapiens has anybody ever dug any up for restoration they fastened a chane around the tail sections and pulled the chane tight crushing the booms in the area of the airinlet scoops then covered them with dirt.then used the P51s for defence when both would have been a formadabul pair for defence even the "twin"mustangs were not as good in my opion
