Drop Tank

Aloha from the islan of Lanai ran across this picture on Facebook somebody had posted, to me it looks like a WWII era drop tank at one time this island had a small bomb range perhaps someone pickled the tank? http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/phot ... 1812973273 I have seen some later models around a few years back that probably drifted in from Kahoolawe from the days of pre deployment work ups prior to West Pac..........
