Jackson Airdrome

Friends,
Who was Jackson Airdrome named after?
An Australian? An American? Who was he?
When was the earliest reference to the field as Jackson Airdrome?
The earliest USAAF document I have referring to Jackson Airdrome is
dated February 18, 1943 (if I remember correctly).
From what I understand, Jackson Airdrome and Seven-Mile Airdrome are the same thing. Is this right?
How many Allied military airfields were in the vicinity of Port Moresby during WWII? What were their names and who operated them?
Early in the war, did USAAF, RAAF, RAF, and RNZAF operate at the same fields in the Port Moresby area?
Have any books been published concerning the operations in the Port Moresby area during WWII?
Can someone help me with these questions or point me in the right direction? Any help greatly appreciated.
